Christmas eve eve
It's hard to believe that Christmas is in 2 days! I can't believe how fast parts of this year have gone!
Christmas this year will be something that I have waited for since last year at this time. Christmas has great things for us this year. Family, fun and memories to last a lifetime. I'm so happy that Blaine is here to share in it all with me this year! I can't begin to describe the relief that his presence brings this year. We have a busy couple of days ahead of us, but I am truly excited about all of it.
The past week was completely crazy for me. All in all it went really well. The program on Monday went really well and the crowd was standing room only. The students looked and sounded amazing! I was really proud of them!
Tuesday's cantata was great as usual. Wednesday was for finals. The first one was cancelled luckily and the second one wasn't as bad as it could have been. Final grades in both were................ A s!!YAY! I'm really proud of those grades! I worked my tail off for those two A s.
The rest of the week was spent singing and shopping and spending time with family and friends. Sunday's Christmas with the Gellert's was really fun. We spent time with the fam and had a really good time.
I will hopefully get to post some pics later today, but for now I'm off to get the car serviced! Later everyone!

Concerts and Finals and Shopping, Oh my!
That's the theme of the week. Concerts 5 of the next 7 nights and 2 finals on Wednesday. Pair that up with more Christmas things to do and it is setting up to be a scary week around this place. Here is the schedule for the concerts. If you want more info give me a call!

How much more can Katie take?
I feel like the world is playing a game with me this week. I think that if I had to name it I would call the game "How Much More Can Katie Take?" I am telling you that I feel like I am being pushed and challenged this week to the extent of my being. The kids at school are getting quite frenzied and frantic and it is only going to get worse from here. Add to that my 4 hour (yes 4 hours! ) commute yesterday and it has spelled disaster for the beginning of the week. Then today's kick in the butt was a notification that I need to move the holiday show to the high school auditorium. Grrrrr....can it be any more ridiculous of a week?!
I probably shouldn't say that though since the weather is going to be crazy for the next 24 hours. I just hope that my drives to and from school are easy and quick tomorrow. I love my Vue, but I'm sick of sitting in it. At least I have good music when I am stuck places.
