Well I was told recently that everytime I post I apologize for not posting for awhile. Well lets just keep up that trend and let me apologize for not posting in a really long time. I think its been like 2 and half or 3 weeks. Ooops. Anyways....
In case you didn't already know I bought a car on the 17th of March. The picture below is it! It's a 2002 toyota camry. I really like it so far...except for the problems that I have had with it in the past several weeks. If you see the little blue car I used to have give the person a wave. My dad is driving that car now to get better gas mileage.

Easter this year was so early! It was cold too. This year was not much different than the years before except for Blaine being gone. I really missed him on that day. It was hard to be doing things without him and celebrating the holiday without him. I went to church with my parents and then we went to my Grandma Ratzs house. We had turkey and too much delicious food for dinner and then it was time for hunting eggs and the pinata. Yes it's true....my family has a pinata for Easter. I'm really not sure when or why it started, but it is an awesome tradition for us that is a lot of fun! The pinata was a bunny this year. Dad is wearing the head after it was broken up. It was really funny this year. My aunt Pam always fills it for us and this year she tried to put things in it that would be appealing and good for us older kids. These things included lottery tickets, seed packets, and even little bottles of liquor! One of the bottles flew out of the bunny when Ross hit it and it busted open on the side of the house. It was quite funny.

My spring break was the week right after Easter this year. I had a lot of things going on and a lot of things worked on during that week at the house! On Thursday though, it was time to kick back and have some fun. My mom, dad, Amy and I went to IKEA on Thursday. We had a blast! I bought several things including a new light fixture for the kitchen and lots of decorations. Amy is going to go back soon and pick out some bedroom furniture. I highly recommend to everyone a trip to IKEA. You have to have a lot of time to be there and browse, but I promise that it will be worth the while. On Friday we all went to Belterra. It was a trip to be remembered for sure. I didn't win any money at all and quite frankly had bad luck, but it was a good experience if nothing else. Plus I got to spend time with the family! The picture below is Amy and I as we were leaving the casino.

Trey's birthday was April 1. I headed over for dinner and then cake and ice cream. It is hard to believe that he is already 14! When Blaine and I started dating Trey was only 7! Man do I feel old.

Blaine is doing well for right now. He has been working on learning the tasks and details of the job they will be doing when they are in Iraq. It is called PTT. He has started working out with another buddy of his and it is nice to hear that he is settling in and getting some routines going with other soldiers. Sounds like all is going well for him or so he tells me. Sometimes I wish things on my end were the same. Anyways, if you are thinking of sending him something before he leaves for Iraq I would do so by the 24th or so at least. We are not really sure what will be happening with the things that are sent to the post after they leave. I am flying up to see Blaine on the 26th of April. His pass begins that night at midnight and then he has to be back sometime on the 30th. I will fly back on May 1st. I guess that's all I know about Blaine for right now. I hope you are all doing fantabulous! Have a great Friday and an awesome weekend. Love you all!!
p.s. Blaine the pod is still empty and I miss you! Love ya!
